Trenton Thunder and Foundation Academies Partnership Continues Building Trenton’s Future Together
(Trenton, NJ) – Your Trenton Thunder, presented by NJM Insurance Group along with Foundation Academies, Mercer County’s only K-12 charter school, are eager to continue their partnership in building Trenton’s future together with ongoing major renovations and enhancements. Foundation Academies is currently constructing a new 60-million-dollar state of the art high school campus located at 350 Grand Street in Trenton. The new high school is scheduled to open for the 2026 school year.
“The new high school project for Foundation Academy is extremely important to the Trenton community,” said Foundation Academies’ Chief Operating and Financial Officer Andre’ Moore. “Foundation Academy has had a waiting list of over a thousand scholars for the last two years and this project was extremely important to satisfying the need and addressing the needs of not only our scholars but their families and extended families within Trenton. This new high school project is going to revitalize the community. It's going to be our second campus on Grand Street - and to really show that we have an investment in Trenton and to the South Ward specifically.”
This dynamic partnership, established in 2021, fosters a strong connection between the Thunder organization and more than 1,200 future leaders of Trenton enrolled at Foundation Academies. The collaboration provides a unique platform for Foundation Academies to:
